This former pub in London’s Holloway Road still looks like a pub inside (complete with pool table), but is dressed up with skulls, skeletons, & black paint, trying to look sinister.  But it’s a good place to listen to some good, if relatively unknown, bands.  There is the added benefit of good parking almost directly outside.

At the end of June 2010, I paid my first visit here.  Bands on view were: Jack Brews, Loudmouth Eddi, The Dilenquents (note the spelling), and Dead Sails.  Lots of fun on a Summer’s evening.

First Visit

Ferocity Lights and Cavilry together again, this time with A Quick Minute.

Cavilry

Sadly, this music venue has since closed.  The premises have been taken over by the ubiquitous Costa Lot coffee chain.
